Dan Sohege is a policy researcher, advocacy strategist and communications specialist.
Their work focuses on examining how public policy shapes inequality and supporting organisations and individuals to influence policy debates.
Experience includes:
- policy research on migration and family poverty
- leading national advocacy campaigns
- parliamentary engagement with MPs and peers
- media commentary on migration and human rights
They have worked across advocacy, research and communications roles in the charity sector and regularly contributes to public discussions on migration policy and human rights.
Bringing with them a background as a journalist and news editor, as well as advising politicians and key policymakers, they have a deep understanding of how the media and parliamentary systems work to maximise impact.
They also hold specialisms in international refugee law, marketing, brand management, crisis communications, international relations and economics.
